THE GIFTED PROGONY

BACKSTORY
ACT 1Their sprightly smiles and their untroubled lifestyles mask their horrific past.Coming from a hierarchy of syndicates, their lives as children weren't very promising. Growing up in a pernicious family, Kiyo—the eldest of eight siblings—couldn't stand seeing his siblings lock themselves away in their respective rooms just to avoid hearing the constant yelling and fighting. Kiyo gathered his siblings in hopes of escaping their abode without anyone noticing. They succeeded, determined to leave the place in sooth. Heaving sighs of assurance, they persevered, with the eldest in the lead...unaware of what's bound to happen next.As they quietly walked down the street, a vehicle stopped in front of them. The eight children attempted to flee, crying and shouting for help, but there were too many men with obscured faces for them to resist. They kept banging on the doors and windows of the van, but to no avail; they remained unheard. It wasn't a shocker, for they lived in an almost-isolated place—still, they hoped they'd be saved. The Imperial-Furukawas woke up in rooms with no apertures besides the metal doors that seemed securely barred. They're still able to hear the cries of help from children their age, and it made them think... What is all this for?Observing the measures taken by the "scientists," it still lingers in their minds how they're only using children for their so-called "experiments." Is it because children are more vulnerable? I guess you could say that "vulnerability" does not exist in the world of the Imperial-Furukawa siblings. They were once put in rooms collectively to attempt the same experiments on the siblings. Inyoku, the secondborn, disdainfully asked one of the guards why they were locked up, yet no answer was given to him. This caused them to plan an attempt to run free from the facility. However, they were caught in the act by the security and were put in more sealed rooms. As punishment, they were set to be used for another experiment—a major experiment that the abductors came up with very recently. One that made the siblings lose their consciousness.Regaining their strength and alertness, the Imperial-Furukawa siblings simultaneously felt that someone was coming about to their bodies. They were not certain of what it was, but they were athirst to know. The abductors gathered the siblings to bring them the tragic news. Their youngest, Jiro, died from the experiment. The children's eyes were filled with agony and anger; not only was the news delivered without showing any remorse, but they couldn't believe that their brother had been killed.Pain fueled their avarice for justice.Their rage was uncontrollable, and it brought forth their abilities obtained from the recent experiment tested on them. It didn't bother any of the siblings that they had such powers; what they had in mind was to make everyone behind the death of their brother suffer. The Imperial-Furukawas took it as a cue to get out of the laboratory. Fighting back against all that hindered their way, they were dead set on leaving.Once again, they succeeded in escaping. They have come a long way, and they have lost sight of the facility. They felt relieved at the thought, but the loss of their brother made them distraught. None of it made them stop to look for ways of getting revenge. And they're just starting with their agenda.ACT 2Their lives changed drastically after the dreadful event. Each of the Imperial-Furukawas was adopted by different wealthy families, and all of them moved to the Philippines. They still kept in touch and kept their surnames as they wished from their adoptive parents. Each one of them is a well-off, known personality, not just in their universities but widely in the city as well. They even established a band, which is very well known in the city. The bond they have as siblings has remained virtuous despite being deprived of a normal childhood. They make sure that their abilities are kept a secret, but at the same time, they train themselves how to manage them. The Imperial-Fukurawas have one goal in mind: to be found by their biological parents and abductors. They all seek revenge, and they assure their combatants of one thing:Watch out for the inevitable.
